Acerca del origen del Comunismo y del Socialismo en el seno del jesuitismo, en el libro titulado “History of the Jesuits: Their Origin, Progress, Doctrines and Desingns” leemos lo siguiente:

“When once the jsuits had raised up a generation so devotes and obediente, they then brought into operation their system of government, and made a successful attempt to realise that republic preconceived of old by Plato, and which, with perhaps more interested views, is held out to us by Socialists of our own day. In fact, their form of a republic was nothing else than that Communism which the famous Cabet is now trying to establish in early the same regions; the only difference being, that the Jesuits substituted themselves for the estate or community.”

Traducción: “Cuando una vez que los jesuitas habían criado una generación tan devota y obediente, pusieron en funcionamiento su sistema de gobierno y realizaron un intento exitoso de realizar aquella república preconcebida de antaño por Platón, y que, con opiniones más interesadas, nos ofrecen los socialistas de nuestros días. De hecho, su forma de república no era otra cosa que aquel Comunismo que el famoso Cabet está tratando de establecer en las mismas primeras regiones; la única diferencia es que los jesuitas se sustituyeron por el estado o la comunidad.”
